From our Committee Chair:

Troop committee met this morning (1/18/09) and discussed ideas for safer Scout meetings. The following changes will be instituted immediately.

New meeting Day & Time
1- Troop meetings will move to Wednesdays.
2- Start time 7 PM- End time 8:30 PM

Scout House Access
1- Access through the Waldo gate will be discontinued until further notice. This gate will remain closed during Troop meetings. We will use the Waldo gate for campout loading/unloading only.
2- All Troop Meeting access and exit will occur through the SFdS main parking lot next to the Primary School Building gate.
3- We will have an adult leader stationed at that gate from 6:45 till 7:15. On Wednesdays when CCE is not occurring, the gate will close at 7:15.
4- Parking is in the main SFdS church parking lot

Scout Sign in/ Sign out
1- Scouts will need to be escorted by parent from parking lot into the Scout House.
2- Parent will need to sign in Scouts at the Scout House.
3- Parent will need to pick up and sign out Scouts at the Scout House.
4- After all parents are present at the end of meeting - we will all exit Scout House together and exit through the main parking lot- No one is left behind, no one leaves alone.
